About Kelly:

Kelly Overbeck serves as the Business Development Specialist for The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Convention & Visitors Bureau is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to position The Woodlands as a regionally, nationally, and internationally recognized tourist destination by developing quality marketing programs and events to attract visitors and stimulate economic development and growth.

As Business Development Specialist, she is charged with the responsibility of engaging local, regional, and national businesses with the events The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau produces through event sponsorships.  She does this by building relationships with community leaders and developing strong sponsorship initiates to help promote the merchants, restaurants and businesses in The Woodlands and surrounding areas.

Ms. Overbeck is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where she received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications in May 2006.

In addition to her role as Business Development Specialist for The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, Ms. Overbeck serves as the Business Development Specialist for The Woodlands Township.
