THE WOODLANDS, TX. (December 11, 2008) . . . Market Street’s final week of holiday celebrations will include a schedule filled with carolers, choirs, theater and joyful holiday cheer.
The entertainment begins at noon on Saturday, December 20 as the Houston Tuba Christmas entertains the crowd with over 200 roaring tubas. Later that day, enjoy the sounds of Christmas from the band Ransom and donate canned items to Montgomery County’s newest food bank: Can - N – Keys Food Bank from 1 - 4.
Strolling entertainment will spread holiday cheer throughout Market Street on Sunday, December 21 when the Braeswood Choir performs festive holiday songs at 4 pm
The fun continues on Monday, December 22 with a musical performance from Layna Haidar and at 2 pm the following day, catch the theatrical performance from the Christian Youth Theater as they perform segments from C. S. Lewis’ “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Market Street’s 2008 holiday celebrations conclude at 5 pm on Tuesday, December 23 when local young artist, Marissa sings our favorite Christmas carols.
