The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center, presented by Jaguar Land Rover Houston North, is the largest seasonal outdoor ice rink in the southwest United States and will be open daily through Monday, January 19, 2009 at its new location along The Woodlands Waterway® at Six Pines Drive.
Hours of operation for The Ice Rink are: Monday through Thursday, 3 pm – 9 pm; Friday, 3 pm –11 pm; Saturday, 10 am – 11 pm; and Sunday, noon until 7 pm. Tickets are $9.50 for adults and children and include skate rentals. Tickets for children under five are $5 including skate rentals.
Parking for The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center is available at the Town Center Garage located on Six Pines Drive adjacent to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Following an eventful afternoon on the ice, visitors can stroll the banks of The Woodlands WaterwayÒ and experience the Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland, which features illuminated holiday scenes and storybook displays. Visitors can wander along the winding waterway through a whimsical wonderland filled with traditional holiday images and featuring over 300,000 lights. A fantastical journey through lighted toy soldiers, soaring doves, Santa’s elves, and musical angels and snowmen, the Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderful is open daily until January 5, 2009 for visitors from dusk until 11 pm.
