The Woodlands, TX – Joe Michels, president of The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council, presents Aaron Stryk, managing director of Town Center Theatre, with a check for volunteer hours contributed to The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival in April 2008.
Town Center Theatre was selected as a charity partner for The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival’s 2008 and 2009 events, along with The Pavilion Partners and The Woodlands Art League. Festival charity partners provide volunteer support for the event enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year. Any Montgomery County 501 (c) 3 organization having an involvement with the arts and/or arts-related programs had the opportunity to apply to be a charity partner. Selected charity partners receive a portion of the net proceeds of the festival based on the number of volunteer event hours provided by the organization.
Town Center Theatre is a professional, nonprofit performing arts organization dedicated to providing quality live entertainment and educational theatre to the surrounding community.
The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council supports local organizations that provide greater cultural opportunities in our community.
