THE WOODLANDS, Texas. April 20, 2009 ~ As the weather warms up, cooks look to recipes that offer lighter, yet flavorful and delicious fare. At The Woodlands Mall, Williams-Sonoma’s free, one-hour Technique Classes offer recipes and techniques that fit the bill for family dinners or spring-into-summer entertaining.
The one-hour classes, held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Demonstration Kitchen at Williams-Sonoma, will focus on the following:

Sunday, May 3: Strata, Frittata and More. Eggs are a cost-conscious option for brunch, lunch and dinner. This class uncovers the secret world of eggs as main dishes, including easy frittatas, make-ahead stratas and more.

Sunday, May 17: Thrill of the Grill. With summertime just around the corner, this free class helps cooks get ready for delicious grilled meats and side dishes and includes an introduction to grilling season and new recipes for weekends, Memorial Day and the entire summer.

Sunday, May 31: Summer Drinks. Learn to pour summer fun with tempting, thirst-quenching drinks the whole family will enjoy. Includes new spins on classic summer favorites such as lemonade to inspiring fruit combinations that are healthy and delicious.
