The Woodlands, Texas (Monday, April 27, 2009) On Thursday, April 23, 2009, Interfaith of The Woodlands staff were humbled to learn that the street sign located in the Village of Panther Creek had changed from Woodrush Drive to Interfaith Way.
All local law enforcement have been notified to ensure that the safety of all residents who live off of Interfaith Way is uninterrupted. Community and county officials who construct the community maps have been notified and are working as fast as possible to address this change.
“The name change is in honor of Interfaith of The Woodlands,” shared Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.
John Powers, Interim Co-General Manager of Community Associations of The Woodlands, said, “This is a testament to what you (Interfaith of The Woodlands) bring to The Woodlands.”
A dedication ceremony will take place on July 10, 2009 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at 4242 Interfaith Way to honor Reverend Don Gebert, Interfaith’s first Executive Director. Local residents are invited to attend the event.
