THE WOODLANDS, TX – (Monday, April 27, 2009) – The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC) recently contributed $2,500 to the Montgomery County Women’s Center (MCWC) for the eighth annual WineFest event, according to Debra Staley, director of public affairs for TWDC. The WineFest 2009: Take a Walk on the Wine Side fundraiser was held on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Macy’s Furniture Gallery on The Woodlands Mall Ring Road.
“The Woodlands Development Company is proud to support the many great works of the Montgomery County Women’s Center through our Good Neighbors Community Partnership Program,” Staley said. “Our company has supported the Women’s Center for over 20 years and has sponsored WineFest since its inception. The array of family services delivered by the staff and volunteers of the Women’s Center help to build and maintain a healthy and productive community.”
The MCWC is a United Way agency funded in part by the Community Block Grant Program of Montgomery County and serves victims and survivors of domestic
