THE WOODLANDS, TX – (Wednesday, April 1, 2009) – Swinging into Spring is 4-year old Makenzie Grutkowski, a resident of Harper’s Landing in The Woodlands’ Village of College Park, and grand prize winner of the $1,000 shopping spree to Sterling Ridge Village Center. Grutkowski’s name was randomly drawn at the Swing Into Spring Carnival, held on March 28, 2009 at Sterling Ridge Village Center.
Grutkowski and her family enjoyed the free event that included carnival rides, giant inflatables, dance performances by local groups and visits by the Easter Bunny and lovable mascot of The Woodlands, Puffy Pine Cone.
The Swing Into Spring Carnival was sponsored by the merchants at Sterling Ridge Village Center and The Woodlands Development Company.
