THE WOODLANDS, TX (April 29, 2009) – Market Street’s Spring Concert Series continues through May 28 with some of the hottest regional musical talents performing every Thursday from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Central Park in Market Street – The Woodlands.
Now in its 5th year, the series has become one of The Woodlands’ most popular spring traditions, attracting music-lovers of all ages. This year’s concerts’ have been enhanced with the addition of Southwest Airlines as the official airline of the Market Street Spring Concert Series. Southwest Airlines is giving away a Fly Away Vacation package for 2 to Napa Valley. You can register to Win at the Concert or anytime at the Concierge Desk located in the North Commons Breezeway.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, or enjoy renown local artists while dining al fresco at Jasper’s, Crú –Wine Bar, Tommy Bahama’s Tropical Café & Emporium, Uni Sushi or any of Market Street’s signature restaurants. Market Street fashion retailers and restaurants are open during each of the concerts
The Series features artists from a variety of genres. The line up includes:
April 30 – Static - High energy Pop and Contemporary Mix
May 7 – Kyle Turner - Contemporary Jazz Saxophonist
May 14 – Texas Dixie Kings - Classic Dixie Orchestra
May 21 – David Caceres Group - Jazz Swing Band
May 28 – TBA (Same night as the HEB Wine Walk at Market Street)
