THE WOODLANDS, TX (April 6, 2009) – BRAVO foodie fans will have an opportunity to interact with their favorite chefs, as the number one food show on cable television, Top Chef, continues its 21-city tour at Market Street – The Woodlands on Friday, April 17 from 10 am – 5pm.
The tour features live interactive shows complete with cooking demonstrations, gourmet techniques, show secrets and food tasting from two select “Top Chef” chef’testants. Fans will get a chance to experience new activities such as the “Top Chef” trivia wheel, giving guests the chance to win prizes by answering “Top Chef” trivia questions. Attendees will also have access to web kiosks where they can play games, gain answers to cooking questions and purchase exclusive merchandise from Bravo and Top Chef.
The shows will be performed inside the “Top Chef” traveling kitchen equipped with power, water and expanded seating. The traveling kitchen will be located on Market Street between Luke’s Locker and Potbelly Sandwich Works.
Cooking demonstrations will begin at 10:30 am, 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm.
“We're very excited for the chef'testants to unpack their knives here at Market Street,” says Market Street Activities Coordinator Jenny Taylor. "This is a wonderful hands-on experience that allows our visitors to be one step closer to the show they love."
