THE WOODLANDS, TX (February 9, 2009) – Do you love to shop? Does your shopping addiction rival those of Rebecca Bloomberg, the compulsive shopper starring in the upcoming movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic”?
If so, celebrate the movie’s release at Market Street – The Woodlands by sending in your craziest shopping confession in 150 words or less now through March 6. Perhaps you’ve convinced yourself that spending $400 pair on a pair of Christian Louboutins pumps is simply a wise investment for your feet? Or maybe you’re the type of shopper willing to drive hundreds of miles, make dozens of phone calls and lose hours of sleep just to get the dress you wanted? Sound familiar?
The winning confession will receive a $100 Market Street gift card, a Market Street reusable shopping bag and a copy of Sophie Kinsella’s novel “Confessions of a Shopaholic”.
Shopping confessions may be dropped off at the Market Street concierge desk located next to Truffles Chocolate Lounge in front of the North Commons area. Visitors may also email their entries to Market Street’s Activities Coordinator Jenny Taylor at jtaylor@trademarkproperty.com.
No purchase is necessary. The winner will be notified by March 9, 2009.
Market Street is home to more than 50 retailers and restaurants, including Tommy Bahama’s, Lilly Pulitzer and the only Cos Bar in Texas. For a complete list of retailers or for more information on other events at Market Street, visit www.marketstreet-thewoodlands.com.
