THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS… Class Act Productions will proudly present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on February 26, 27, 28 and March 1. The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. He is purchased by Potiphar where thwarting advances from Potiphar's wife lands him in jail. When news of Joseph's gift to interpret dreams reaches the Pharaoh (wryly and riotously depicted as Elvis), Joseph is well on his way to becoming second in command. Eventually his brothers, having suffered greatly, unknowingly find themselves groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed but no longer recognize. After testing their integrity, Joseph reveals himself leading to a heartfelt reconciliation of the sons of Israel. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless.
The cast members for the Class Act production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat are all drawn from *local area schools, headed by Aaron Boudreaux (Joseph), Abbey Moss & Morgan Starr (Narrators), Tyler Lewis (*Jacob), Callen Myers (*Pharaoh), John Watkins (Potiphar). *The Friday, February 27 performance will feature guest performers Joe McKinney as Jacob and Andrew McKinney as Pharaoh.
Performances of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be held February 26, 27, 28 & March 1 at 7:30 PM and March 1 at 2:30 PM at the Nancy Bock Center for the Performing Arts, 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77381.

Class Act Productions is a non-profit performing arts group that provides education, training, and participation in professional-quality musical theatre productions for students in The Woodlands, Texas and surrounding areas.
