Cooper Gala 2009 Co-chairs Bev Childs and Kim Udell invite members of the local community to join them for a "rockin' good time" at the 21st Annual John Cooper School Gala, to be held on Saturday, March 7 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. The theme, "School of Rock" promises a festive evening that brings Cooper parents, friends and local area businesses together to create awareness about the PK-Grade 12 independent school.
Since its inception, Cooper's Gala has evolved into a social event that brings together The John Cooper School and members of the local communities for a fun evening, complete with live and big board auctions, fine dining, music and dancing. "We are very excited about this year's theme," said Childs. "Rock 'n roll spans the generations of music lovers and should be something everyone will enjoy."
There will also be an Online Auction that will run from February 18 to March 4 by going to the Cooper website at www.johncooper.org. Committee members are currently soliciting auction donations, table sponsorships and underwriting opportunities.
