THE WOODLANDS (January 28, 2009) – Orvis, an upscale sporting goods retailer, known for its classic men’s and women’s fashions, gifts for the home and specialty rods and reels has re-located its store in Market Street – The Woodlands to a space next to Sweet & Sassy on the shopping destination’s East End.
Besides its merchandise, Orvis continues to present a wide range of services for outdoor enthusiasts, including free “how to” seminars, fly-fishing schools, guided fly-fishing trips and outfitting service.

Moving into the former Orvis space just in time for Go Texan Day (February 27) as well as the Houston Rodeo is Outback Western Wear. Outback Western Wear will operate their Market Street location from February 5 – March 31; hours are Monday – Saturday, 10 am - 9 pm and Sunday, Noon – 6pm.
