The Woodlands Children's Museum located at The Woodlands Mall is offering an exciting Spring Break “Stay”-Cation schedule of events during the week of March 14 through March 22.
“We are offering unique programs that include magicians, face painting, Shadow Puppet theatre, parachute play and critter time,” Angela Colton said, executive director for the museum. “We are also featuring children’s songwriters and performers like Tom’s Fun Band and Glynace Eastham.”
During Spring Break “Stay”-Cation the museum will host “Meet and Read” sessions where local authors of children’s books will read to children while enhancing their storylines with playful projects.
“Children really love Science Palooza and they learn while being entertained,” Colton said. “This year they are featuring super creative ‘funshops’ for every day of the spring break week, like: Amazing Diaper Science, Ultra-Violet Scientific Jewelry, Lava Lamps & Color Science, Air Zooka – Fun with Air and Sound, and Mix & Squish Slime.”
The Woodlands Children’s Museum offers activities and interests for children of all ages. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm; Sunday, Noon – 5 pm and during Spring Break “Stay”-Cation the museum will be open Monday, 10 am – 5 pm though the museum is normally closed on Monday.
