The Woodlands, TX (Friday, March 13, 2009) More than 400 individuals attended the Interfaith of The Woodlands “Five Who Share” Spring Luncheon on Friday, March 13, 2009, where five deserving individuals were honored for their ongoing volunteer efforts.

“The Interfaith Spring Luncheon is so special,” shared Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “We were able to bring together the community to honor five individuals who give so much but are not always publicly recognized for their hard work.”
The delightful program also included a traditional book presentation where both South County community libraries received a copy of the 2009 Portraits of Volunteerism keepsake, and CISD students Taylor Kirk, Anna Mayo, and Ben Roach entertained the crowd.
In addition, the spectacular big board items and raffle brought in additional funds for the organization. A few of the items included a Fox Sport Network tour; a full page telephone directory ad in the award-winning Interfaith of The Woodlands Directory; spa, teacher, and photo packages, congressional memorabilia, jewelry, and gift certificates to local restaurants and shops.
The title sponsors of the event were Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Entergy, Friends of Interfaith, and The Township. State Representative Rob Eissler was the honorary chair of the event and Nelda Blair served as the emcee.
