The Woodlands, TX (Wednesday, March 18, 2009) Interfaith of The Woodlands has lined up a great program for the April Senior Networking Meeting.
On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, Nancy Harrington, President of The South Montgomery County Friendship Center, and Allison Hulett, LMSW, will present a presentation about the community Friendship Center. Attendees will gather information about current and future programs and services of the Friendship Center and will be given a chance to ask questions.
The meeting will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Interfaith of The Woodlands located at 4242 Woodrush Drive. The purpose of the networking meetings each month is for lay people and professionals who serve senior adults to unite in an environment were they can discuss senior issues, ideas and techniques.
Lunch will be provided.
“The Interfaith Senior Services Department works year round to address the needs of our senior population in The Woodlands and South Montgomery County,” said Debbie Repka, Director of Senior Services at Interfaith of The Woodlands.
Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands, added, “Through Interfaith’s Senior Care programs, we are able to provide the networking meetings and other resources to individuals in our community.”
