ELECTED OFFICIALS HONORED BY
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP

The Woodlands, TX (March 2009) The South Montgomery County Woodlands Economic Development Partnership (EDP) recently held its 11th annual Elected Officials Reception at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center.

For the past 11 years, the EDP has taken great pride in expressing its appreciation to elected officials at the local, county, state and federal levels. “Were it not for our officials being pro-business and working effortlessly with us to create a more prosperous economic environment, we would not have been able to increase the businesses investments in our area or create as many jobs as we have”, said Ron Bourbeau, CEO of the Economic Development Partnership.

Each year, an elected official is asked to speak at the event on behalf of all elected officials. This year, The Woodlands Township Chair Nelda Blair addressed more than 130 elected officials and guests. Blair thanked the EDP for its efforts as well as recognized the hard work and dedication of all the elected officials.
Special thanks go to the Platinum Level Sponsors who make hosting this reception possible. This year’s Platinum Level

Sponsors included the City of Shenandoah/Shenandoah CVB, Community Associations of The Woodlands, Petroleum Wholesale, The Woodlands Development Company, The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, and The Woodlands Township.
