THE WOODLANDS, TX – (May 26, 2009) – Berripop Frozen Yogurt is planning to open a new store at 25 Waterway Avenue next to Baker Street Pub & Grill in The Woodlands Waterway Square District. Scheduled to open in early July, the 1,150-square-foot store will have indoor and outdoor seating, according to Greg Jordan, director of commercial sales for The Woodlands Development Company.
Berripop Frozen Yogurt is an upscale frozen yogurt boutique serving fat-free, natural, authentic frozen yogurt that is both tart and creamy. Berripop’s yogurt has live and active cultures which provide health benefits, according to the company’s website. Patrons can top off the yogurt with a variety of toppings including fresh fruit (cut fresh on-site), almonds, granola, cheesecake, Fruity Pebbles, chocolate chips and more. Six flavors will be served initially at the new store including Berripop original flavor, raspberry pomegranate, mango, acai berry and blueberry. Smoothies will also be served.
The atmosphere will be hip and trendy, with music videos and WiFi. Berripop is a Houston-based franchise with two other stores open and another under construction in the Houston area, in addition to the store in The Woodlands.
