The Woodlands, TX - In September, free Technique Classes offered at The Woodlands Mall Williams-Sonoma concentrate on the rich flavors of fall. Baking, grilling and Italian risotto are on the menu of classes held on select Sundays beginning at 12:00 p.m.

- Sunday, September 12: Risotto. A specialty of north Italy, risotto has earned a place as a legendary Italian dish. Rich, creamy and irresistible, risotto has became a favorite outside its homeland as well. Risotto can be embellished with any number of savory ingredients, including cheeses, vegetables, meats, seafood and sweets, such as dried fruit and chocolate. With this class, risotto will quickly become one of the most versatile and well-loved dishes.
- Sunday, September 19: Indoor Grilling. With the secrets to bringing the flavor of the grill indoors, the approach of fall doesn’t mean the end of delicious grilled meats and vegetables. This class will focus on the technique of indoor grilling and how-to capture those summer grill favorites inside the home. Attendees will learn how to make the classic Pollo Alla Mattone [chicken under a brick] and the instructor will share tips and recipes to lend inspiration to fall cooking.
- Sunday, September 26: Fall Baking. As the weather cools, culinary energy focuses on baking and the temptations of the fall harvest. Participants will learn delicious recipes to best utilize apples, pears and more of the wonders that fall offers. Classic recipes are invigorated with autumn flavors and fragrances.
