As the largest seasonal outdoor ice skating rink in the southwest prepares to close its winter season on January 17, 2011 The Woodlands Ice Rink will showcase an exciting entertainment line-up of events during its final week including live DJ’s, laser lights shows and more!
On Friday, January 14, 2011 students from Conroe Independent School District will not only enjoy a school holiday, but also extended hours at The Woodlands Ice Rink complete with a live DJ from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and a laser light show from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The fun continues on Sunday, January 16, 2011 as the popular ice rink features balloon artists from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and a free photo booth capturing special moments from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Don’t forget! Avid skaters can still find several daily promotions at The Woodlands Ice Rink throughout the week. On Mondays, skaters can buy one admission and bring a friend for free. Wednesdays provide adults with a dollar off their admission tickets and Thursdays bring complimentary hot chocolate to all skaters.
Eager skaters also can visit Fidelity Investments, located across the street from The Ice Rink at 1701 Lake Robbins Drive to pick up a coupon for free admission and skate rental (with the purchase of a paid admission and skate rental.) The Fidelity Investment coupon will be honored any day of the week. Limit one per person.
The Woodlands Ice Rink, presented by Jaguar Land Rover Houston North, is located at the corner of Lake Robbins Drive and Six Pines Drive and will remain open through Monday, January 17, 2011.
Parking for The Woodlands Ice Rink is available at the lot surrounding The Rink and the Town Center Garage located on Six Pines Drive adjacent to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
