Four Texas residents became the lucky winners of vacation getaway packages thanks to generous donations from hotels and businesses in The Woodlands.
B’Zie Hartmann of Austin, Grace Torres of Pasadena, Catherine Rice of Kingwood and Shannon Garcia of Stafford were selected among the thousands of entries submitted to the Bureau via email and through its website.
The promotion was created by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau to build awareness and promote interest as a premiere destination to shop, dine, stay and play.
Hartmann won a “Couple’s Getaway” Package which included a stay for two at The Woodlands Resort, four passes to the Houston Symphony at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, two portrait coupons at Picture People, $25 shopping gift cards to Market Street and The Woodlands Mall, four Waterway Cruiser tickets, a $20 gift card to America’s and more.
Torres won the “Family Getaway” Package, which includes a stay at the Residence Inn / Lake Front, $25 shopping gift cards to Market Street and The Woodlands Mall, and passes to The Woodlands Children’s Museum, Waterway Cruisers, the Houston Symphony at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Riva Row Boathouse and Potteryland, among a host of other shopping hotspots.
Garcia won the “Girl’s Getaway” Package: a stay at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel, a free appetizer or dessert at Landry’s Seafood House, $25 shopping gift cards to Market Street and The Woodlands Mall, four passes to the Houston Symphony at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, a handbag and scarf from Em & Lee in Market Street, a $20 dining gift certificate to America’s, an AVEDA Gift Box among others.
Rice was named the winner of a “Great Getaway” Package: a weekend stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites, $25 shopping gift cards to Market Street and The Woodlands Mall, four complimentary rounds of Shankz Black Light Miniature Golf, passes to The Woodlands Children’s Museum, the Houston Symphony the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Waterway Cruisers and a dinner for four at Bio-Tuscan Grille among others.
