The Woodlands’ Special May Valley Incentive in May Offers $2,000 MasterCard to New Home Buyers

Valuable builders’ incentives offered up to $50,000 in savings

The Woodlands, TX - The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC) is offering buyers of new homes in May Valley in The Woodlands a special gift of a $2,000 Woodforest National Bank MasterCard if they purchase between May 1, 2011 and May 31, 2011 and close on or before July 31, 2011, according to Susan Vreeland-Wendt, director of marketing for TWDC. In addition, valuable builders’ incentives of up to $50,000 in savings will be offered.

May Valley is a 400-acre area situated in The Woodlands’ Village of Sterling Ridge which features new single-family homes, priced from the $180’s to the $550’s,  by renowned homebuilders Highland, D.R. Horton, Lennar, Partners in Building, Trendmaker and Village Builders. 

“We are excited to offer a $2,000 MasterCard to homebuyers who purchase a new home in May Valley in May,” said Vreeland-Wendt. “May Valley is already a great value, and this incentive just adds to the appeal of purchasing a new home in this beautiful area of Sterling Ridge.”

Highland Homes features new homes in the neighborhoods of Almondell, priced from the $370’s, and Vershire, priced from the $260’s, in May Valley.  Highland’s incentive includes up to $20,000 in upgrade designer options.

D.R. Horton is offering $50,000 towards design center options in the neighborhood of Golden Orchard and $20,000 towards design center options in Hawkhurst.  In both neighborhoods, D.R. Horton includes an incentive value of up to $5,000 towards closing when using DHI Mortgage. Homes in Golden Orchard are priced from the $320’s while homes in Hawkhurst are priced from the $180’s.         

Lennar Homes builds in Quillwood with homes priced from the upper $180’s. As part of the May Valley incentive, Lennar is offering zero closing cost, free washer and dryer and free sprinkler system.

Partners in Building features homes in Almondell, priced from the $370’s. Partners in Building’ incentive includes dream home items, valued at up to $25,000, including a spa bath with up to level two granite countertops and tub deck; luxury kitchen with many upgrades; and a “fabulous” family room including  a choice of three cast stone fireplaces.

Trendmaker builds homes in the neighborhood of Clare Point, priced from the $370’s.  Trendmaker is offering $25,000 off inventory homes or $25,000 in upgrade designer options as part of the May Valley incentive.

Village Builders offers homes, priced from the $260’s, in the neighborhood of Vershire.  Village Builders highlights $25,000 in design studio options as part of their incentive.
Students residing in May Valley attend schools in the Magnolia Independent School District, a Recognized District by the Texas Education Agency.  Smith Elementary K – 5 has been rated Exemplary. Bear Branch 6th Grade Campus, Bear Branch Junior High and Magnolia High School have been rated Recognized.

May Valley Park is a nine-acre park, situated near the entrance to May Valley.  The park features a pavilion, playfield, playgrounds, lighted tennis and basketball courts, and a natural stream nestled in the forest. A water playground will be added to the park with a completion date expected by early summer 2011.
Home shoppers are being directed to The Woodlands Homefinder Center, where they can register for the May Valley program before visiting the sales offices. After the home closing, the buyer should notify the Homefinder Center and make arrangements to redeem their $2,000 MasterCard.
