May Technique Classes at Williams-Sonoma at The Woodlands Mall feature culinary skills that will get the grilling season off to a great start. Each hour-long class is dedicated to a specific topic and led by one of the retailer’s culinary experts. Class size is limited and reservations are suggested.
The May class schedule includes:
- Sunday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. KNIFE SKILLS. A sharp edge, the correct grip, proper food placement are techniques that will be covered in this class. Attendees will learn how to make the most of this season’s best fresh produce. Along with the basic slicing, chopping and dicing, students will learn advanced cuts such as chiffonade, julienne, and more.
- Sunday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. ON THE GRILL—BURGERS AND CHICKEN. With Memorial Day just around the corner, this class will help you launch the summer grilling season in the most delicious way. The class will offer attendees tips on preparing the backyard grill and will demonstrate how to cook juicy burgers and succulent chicken on the barbecue.
- Sunday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. ON THE GRILL—STARTERS AND SIDES. After the burger and chicken refresher, it’s time to learn how to cook the perfect starters and sides on the grill. Students will discover how to grill vegetables to crisp-tender perfection, make an impressive grilled romaine salad and prepare flavorful sauces and relishes to serve with the meal.
