Young imaginations found a new place to play when the renovated Enchanted Forest Play Area at The Woodlands Mall opened for little visitors on Friday, March 25.
The new 2,000-square-foot play area includes all new play elements in a nature-inspired setting. A woodlands path and a bright blue river run around and about the unique circular design. Along the pathway, children encounter bridges and hollow trees. There’s a giant tree with a slide to scoot down and a tunnel below. Throughout the area, children find stumps, logs and bridges for climbing and sliding and crawling through.
Friendly creatures abound, including ladybugs, butterflies, a turtle or two, some fish, a frog and more. There’s even a colorful caterpillar who’s happily creeping over a log.
The play area, located in the court near Forever 21, is open continually during mall hours. It is designed for children under 42 inches in height. There is no admission fee, but parents/caregivers are required to stay with children at all times.
