WineFest is set for Thursday April 17at Macy’s Furniture Gallery in The Woodlands Town Center

THE WOODLANDS, TX – (Tuesday, April 15, 2008) – The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC) recently contributed $2,500 to the Montgomery County Women’s Center (MCWC) for the seventh annual WineFest event, according to Debra Staley, director of public affairs for TWDC. The “WineFest: It’s a CELLAR-bration” fundraiser is set for Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 6 pm until 9 pm at Macy’s Furniture Gallery on The Woodlands Mall Ring Road.

Accepting the donation is from left to right: Bev Philo and JoAnne Lowry, co-chairs of the event along with Peg Welbes, board member of the MCWC.  Macy’s Furniture Gallery on The Woodlands Mall Ring Road will host WineFest on Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 6 pm until 9 pm.

“The Woodlands Development Company is proud to support the many good works of the Women’s Center of Montgomery County through our Good Neighbors Community Partnership Program,” Staley said. “The company has supported the Women’s Center for over 20 years and has sponsored WineFest since its inception. The array of family services delivered by the staff and volunteers of the Women’s Center help to build and maintain a healthy and productive community.”
