MARKET STREET WELCOMES STROLLING TRUMPET PLAYER THURSDAY, AUGUST 24

Just who is Tudor, Tooter, Tutor? He is Darryl Bayer, the trumpet-playing teacher that dresses in garb straight out of the Renaissance era. Now the entire family can enjoy Bayer’s trumpet tunes at Market Street on Thursday, August 24 from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Bayer will begin his 21 st year at the Texas Renaissance Festival this fall and has been a founding member of many exceptional local performing groups such as Texas Brass Ensemble and Herald Trumpets. Bayer is also an educational specialist with over twelve years of experience for two independent schools as Director of Instrumental Studies.

Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.
