The Woodlands Mall Entertainment Series Goes Oldies
Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13
THE WOODLANDS, Texas. August 8, 2005. Take a trip back this weekend when oldies music fills the courtyard during The Woodlands Mall “Take The Feeling With You” Entertainment Series on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13.
Performances are held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays on the new retail and restaurant courtyard. In case of inclement weather, the performances will be held inside The Woodlands Mall in Future Court. The entertainment series continues weekends through Saturday, October 1.
Upcoming performances:
Oldies: Friday, August 12 – El-Vibes, a Houston-based variety dance and show band, covers classic rock and R&B of the 60s and 70s. Bonus fun: El-Vibes presents Supremes and Elvis shows.
Saturday, August 13 – Bourbon Street, one of Houston’s most versatile bands, plays a mix of Zydeco, classic rock, R&B, Motown, blues and dance favorites. This is a favorite in The Woodlands and back by popular demand.
Country/Country Rock: Friday, August 20 – Route 66, a little band with a big sound, is a fun, hoppin’ band that plays classics from R&B, rock and Motown.
Saturday, August 21 – One of the few country strolling acts in greater Houston, Liz Talley & Three of a Kind provide a wide variety of country and western swing music. The band has a fiddle and two guitars, male and female vocalists.
