BACK TO SCHOOL LAUNCH, COMMUNITY PEP RALLY SLATED FOR MARKET STREET ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 13

THE WOODLANDS, TX. (August 1, 2005) . . .Is your family being hit by the sudden back to school blues? What better way to get in the back to school spirit than a host of “launch” activities at Market Street and a community pep rally for The Woodlands College Park High School foot ball team!

It all begins with a fantastic hot air balloon liftoff in Market Street’s Central Park the morning of Saturday, August 13. Visitors can enjoy watching a magnificent hot air balloon take off right in front of their eyes!
Learning Express and The Woodlands Children’s Museum are getting in on the fun with “launch” activities of their own in Central Park from 10 am – noon. Everything from hover discs, gliders, blast pads and more will be available to entertain youngsters.
The Fellowship of The Woodlands will be keeping the entertainment going with music playing all morning in celebration of their student ministries.

The Woodlands College Park High School students will show their pride with a community pep rally starting at 1pm. Come see the marching band, cheerleaders, and dance teams perform in support of the first year of WCPHS football as they “blastoff” to a successful year.

Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.
