The Woodlands Mall Hosts ‘Spirit of Texas’ Blood Drive

On Saturday, August 27

THE WOODLANDS, Texas. August 15, 2005 – To help sustain the blood supply for Labor Day weekend, The Woodlands Mall will host the donor coach of the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center on Saturday, August 27 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. in the Dillard’s parking lot. The ‘Spirit of Texas’ Blood Drive is sponsored by the Blood Center, KHOU-TV/Channel 11, AIG, Majic 102 and Kroger.

Individuals can make an appointment to participate in the Spirit of Texas Blood Drive by calling 1.888.889.2392 or visiting www.ebloodrive.org. Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weight a minimum of 100 pounds and be in good general health. The donation process requires about one hour of time.

All donors or those who attempt to donate will receive a tee shirt and a coupon for a pint of Blue Bell ice cream.
