Save the Date for The Woodlands Rotary’s Wine Dinner!

The Woodlands Rotary Club Foundation is holding its first annual Wine Dinner on Tuesday, September 19. The fun evening for wine and food fanatics will be at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

This happening is a fundraiser for the 501(c)(3) non-profit Foundation that supports the charitable projects of The Rotary Club of The Woodlands. These include scholarships for local high school students, community service projects, food bank projects, and donations, support, and service for other worthy local causes. 

One of the Rotary Club's recent projects involved replacing the playground equipment at Tamina Park. The volunteers cleaned up the playground area, provided drainage (which required some Rotarians to dig ditches!), mulched, and completed other much-needed work. Another recent project involved Club members’ providing their expertise with hammers, nails, wood, and nail guns for framing work on a new building at Bridgewood Farms.

The host wineries for the Wine Dinner will be Alexander Valley Vineyards from California and Spicewood Vineyards from the Texas Hill Country. The wonderful wines provided by these vintners will complement each course of an elegant four-course meal, which will be fashioned by the creative chefs at The Marriott.

Exciting silent and live auction items will be available for lively bidding! Sought-after prizes include a three-day, two-night stay for two wine enthusiasts at Alexander Valley Vineyards in California--which will be hosted by the vintners--and a full Saturday for eight wine aficionados at the Spicewood Vineyards winery. 

This event is open to everyone—especially wine lovers! Call all your friends! Tickets are only $85 per person or $650 for a table of eight. Sponsorships are also available for community-minded businesses, organizations, and individuals who want to support The Woodlands Rotary Club Foundation.
