MARKET STREET ANNOUNCES LINE UP FOR
FALL JAZZ CONCERT SERIES
The return of autumn and cooler weather also signals the return of the ever-popular Fall Jazz Concert Series in Market Street’s Central Park.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and unwind to the live music sounds from renowned local artists every Thursday from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, September 13 through November 1. Best of all, every concert is free!

September 13 Mark Dini Group
The three-time entry level Grammy nominee, The Mark Dini Group also has earned multiple nominations from The Houston Press as the Best Jazz Group in Houston.
September 20 Jaime Casco Quintet
The Jaime Casco Quintet consists of diverse and unique talent with the very best of contemporary jazz, soulful R & B, pop and Latin grooves.
September 27 Watercolours
Watercolours started in 1993 and, since then, has made its presence known in Houston among smooth jazz fans and their musical peers.
October 4 Dean James
A talented saxophonist, Dean delivers his own blend of smooth jazz music.
October 11 Barry Sea Paradox
The sounds of the Barry Sea Paradox combines smooth jazz tunes with a sensual, funky edge.
October 18 Moodafaruka
Mixing Flamenco, Middle Eastern, Spanish and Western motifs, Moodafaruka creates a tapestry of sound that is both familiar and new while promoting celebration of life through music.
