Casey Snyder named Marketing Manager/Trainer

Casey Snyder has been named Marketing Manager/Trainer for The Woodlands Township, located in The Woodlands, Texas.

As Marketing Manager/Trainer, she manages various functions of The Woodlands Township's Marketing & Public Affairs department including community and public relations, training, and special initiatives. Ms. Snyder is responsible for marketing and publicizing The Woodlands as a destination through The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau's initiatives.

Ms. Snyder is a graduate of Baylor University, where she received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Marketing. She began working for the Township as an intern and was then hired to the Township's marketing team as Event Manager in May of 2006, in which she managed various major events in The Woodlands including The Red, Hot & Blue Festival, The Ice Rink, Lighting of the Doves, and iWOW (International Winter on the Waterway).

In addition to her role as Marketing Manager/Trainer for The Woodlands Township, Ms. Snyder will also serve as General Manager of The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Convention & Visitors Bureau is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to position The Woodlands as a regionally, nationally, and internationally recognized tourist destination by developing quality marketing programs and events to attract visitors and stimulate economic development and growth.
