Ellis & Ellis appoints Timothy Blanchard as Senior Partner

Blanchard, CFP®, MBA, CRPC (center) as Senior Partner of the firm. As a result, the practice’s name has changed to Ellis, Ellis & Blanchard.

Ameriprise Financial advisory firm changes name to Ellis, Ellis & Blanchard

The Woodlands, TX (December 12, 2005) Byron W. Ellis, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, CRPC, and Barry W. Ellis, CFP®, CRPC, of Ellis & Ellis, a Woodlands-based financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., have recently announced the appointment of Timothy L. Blanchard, CFP®, MBA, CRPC, as Senior Partner of the firm. As a result, the practice’s name has changed to Ellis, Ellis & Blanchard.

Timothy Blanchard joined Ellis & Ellis in 2003 as Senior Financial Advisor with over seven years of experience in finance and the financial planning industry.

As a Senior Partner, Blanchard continues to work closely with high net worth individuals and small business owners to design financial plans around their life goals. His professional strategic approach helps clients to gain increased confidence to manage their financial objectives by developing short term and long term financial goals which meet their specific needs.

Timothy Blanchard is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). He earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX, where he taught graduate level investment courses to MBA students and certified financial planner candidates.

Among his professional accomplishments, he was named to the Advanced Advisor Group Platinum Team for American Express Financial Advisors in 2004, the Circle of Success - Gold Circle and the Advanced Advisor Group in 2003, and he received the Presidents Recognition Award in 2001 and 2004. Blanchard and his wife, Lisa, live in The Woodlands and they have a 4-year-old daughter and a 14-month-old son.
