The Woodlands' Mascot Puffy "Claus" Pine Cone
Visits with Youngsters at Ice Rink
THE WOODLANDS, TX - (Tuesday, December 16, 2003) - Dressed in holiday attire, Puffy "Claus" Pine Cone, official mascot of The Woodlands, visited with children at the Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center on Sunday, December 14, 2003, according to Susan Vreeland-Wendt, director of marketing for The Woodlands Operating Company, L.P. (TWOC).
Puffy posed for several pictures with youngsters, like Megan Parise (shown in picture), while distributing free peppermint candy canes, courtesy of TWOC.
The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center is the largest outdoor seasonal
ice rink in the southwestern United States, located at the intersection of Lake Robbins Drive and Six Pines Drive in The Woodlands.
The Woodlands is a 27,000-acre master-planned community located 27 miles north of downtown Houston. It is a project of The Woodlands Operating Company, L.P., a Crescent Real Estate Equities and Morgan Stanley limited partnership.
