Lucky Aunt Wins Christmas Eve Visit From Santa Claus
Five nieces and nephews to receive gifts from St. Nick on Saturday, December 24
HOUSTON. December 21, 2005 – The five Houston-area General Growth Properties malls announce that Emily Lewis of Spring is the winner of the Christmas Eve visit from Santa Claus. On Saturday, December 24, between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m., Santa Claus will arrive (in a stretch Hummer limousine) at Ms. Lewis’s home with a sackful of toys and surprises for her five nieces and nephews.
“Ms. Lewis registered to win the visit from Santa Claus at Willowbrook Mall. She signed up on the last day and in hopes of winning the visit for her five nieces and nephews,” said April Jones, marketing manager at Willowbrook Mall. “The children range in age from three to 12, and Santa will be bringing presents for everyone. It’s going to be an exciting Christmas for this family.”
Santa will leave from Willowbrook Mall at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 24, arriving at Ms. Lewis’ home around 3:00 p.m. Ms. Lewis’s home is located at 17211 Kettle Creek Drive in Spring (map at: http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?addr=17211+Kettle+Creek+Drive&csz=Houston&country=us&new=1&name=&qty =). Reporters and photographers are invited to attend.
More than 8,000 shoppers registered at one of the Houston GGP malls, including: Baybrook Mall in Friendswood; Deerbrook Mall in Humble; First Colony Mall in Sugar Land; The Woodlands Mall; and Willowbrook Mall in Houston. Ms. Lewis’s entry was drawn randomly from the combined entries from all Houston GGP malls.
