into their work every day to help make our community one of the safest to live and work . .
our public safety personnel.
With a major sponsorship commitment, Shelley Waters of Merrill Lynch – The Woodlands, is helping the Town Center Improvement District honor twelve outstanding individuals at the upcoming “Decade of Heroes” Public Safety Appreciation Banquet.
This will be the 10th anniversary of the event, which is designed to provide special and heartfelt recognition of the heroic efforts and commitment to public safety that is demonstrated by the area’s public safety, firefighters and EMS personnel.
Each year, 12-13 individuals are nominated by their peers and superiors for outstanding community service to celebrate the achievements of public safety.
“On behalf of Merrill Lynch – The Woodlands, I am proud to support this special event,” said Shelley Waters, CFM, Vice President. “I grew up in the Oak Ridge area and my two brothers were in public service as a firefighter and an EMS technician. I know how important it is to acknowledge the selfless contributions of such people and the impact it has on the community in which so many of us work, live and play. This is certainly a worthwhile and quality event.”
