TOWN CENTER THEATRE TO HOLD SUBSCRIPTION PARTY
AT DOSEY DOE COFFEE HOUSE

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – February 27, 2008 – Town Center Theatre, Montgomery County’s first professional theatre, announced today that it will be hosting a Subscription Party for its 2008 season at the Dosey Doe Coffee House, located at 25911 I-45 North, on Sunday, April 6, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event will feature performances from Town Center Theatre’s upcoming season, including the comedy All In The Timing, the musical Godspell, Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar and Merry Christmas, George Bailey, a new adaptation of the classic holiday film It’s A Wonderful Life.  In addition, guests will be able to enjoy dinner or appetizers from Dosey Doe’s selected menu, chosen particularly for this special event.

According to Artistic Director Joseph Milillo, the purpose behind the Subscription Party is to introduce members of the community to Town Center Theatre and raise awareness of its upcoming season.  “If you haven’t had the opportunity to see what Town Center Theatre has to offer, this is your chance,” he said.  “We want to give the community a taste of what we’re about, and if you like what you see, you can save a substantial amount by purchasing your season tickets at the event.”

Admission for the event is $10, less than half the ticket price for a single show.  Milillo said that if guests decide to purchase season tickets that evening, they will get their admission refunded to their season ticket package.  “The whole purpose of the evening is to become a season subscriber, so those who choose to become one essentially get to enjoy this wonderful evening at no admission charge,” he said.

All of the performances will take place on the Dosey Doe stage, which has played host to various musical acts in the Montgomery County area.  “Dosey Doe has become a well-known destination to see musical talent – both local and national – perform in a comfortable, intimate setting,” said Artistic Director Chris Tennison.  “Their menu is also fantastic and affordable, making Dosey Doe the ideal spot for our first ‘dinner theatre’ foray.”

Seating is limited, so reservations are strongly encouraged.  To make your reservation to Town Center Theatre’s 2008 Season Subscription Party, simply call the TCT Box Office at (832) 592-9697, or contact Dosey Doe at (281) 367-3774.
