HOME THEATERS ARE THE 'REEL' TICKET
FOR NEW HOMES AND REMODELING PROJECTS
SPRING HOME & GARDEN SHOW AT THE WOODLANDS
FEATURES "MOVIES AT HOME" SHOWCASE
The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center
February 28 & 29, 2004
THE WOODLANDS, TX - The hottest ticket in town for entertainment is not at the multiplex but right in the next room - in your very own home theater! Media rooms are a "must have" item on the list of millions of homeowners.
Vision Audio will showcase "Movies at Home" at their booth at the Spring Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands. A 16'x18' media room will be set up for consumers who are building new homes and those with remodeling projects. Customers can see the actual equipment that goes into a media room, how it is set up, and get expert advice on how to create their own home theater.
In the best of worlds, a media room is part of the plans before a new home is built. Vision Audio will have a section of their booth geared to the new home builder. Information will be available on pre-wiring and even the latest technology in telephone and computer applications.
NOT BUILDING A NEW HOME, BUT STILL WANT A HOME THEATER? Take heart! With the help of experts in the field, it is being done every day. Miriam Fatheree, licensed interior designer with M. Fatheree Interiors in The Woodlands said, "People who have existing homes that they feel comfortable with can still have that media room. It's an added element that keeps a home updated. We work with many clients from the new construction level, but we have also had much success taking a game room or a large bedroom and turning it into a media room."
Fatheree said they have been so overwhelmed with customers requesting home theater design services, that they are turning one vignette in their store into a "mini theater" area. "There are so many exciting things that can be done to make the ambiance of that room different from anything else in the home," said Fatheree.
M. Fatheree Interiors will be at the Spring Home & Garden Show with expert advice about home theaters and other home decorating solutions.
WANT POPCORN? Vision Audio can supply the machine.
NEED FURNITURE? Leather Today will be at the Spring Home & Garden Show showing their line of Ekornes home theater seating. These versatile sectional pieces can be arranged in circles, in a sofa that stretches from here to Dallas, or other creative arrangements. The line comes in three different grades of leather and in over 30 colors.
Whether building a new home or remodeling an existing one, the experts at the Spring Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands can help pull it all together.
Over 200 exhibitors will feature the most current trends and technology in home building and decorating products and services, including: flooring, windows and doors, blinds and shutters, landscaping, pools, kitchen cabinets and countertops, central vacuum systems, outdoor kitchens, lighting, and more.
