MARKET STREET SEEKS ARTISTS FOR SPRING FINE ARTS FESTIVAL

THE WOODLANDS, TX. (January 8, 2008) . . . Whether you are an accomplished artist, a starving artist or somewhere in between, Market Street in The Woodlands wants to hear from you.

Now is the time to sign up for Market Street’s Spring Fine Arts Festival, the ideal venue to showcase the artistic works of hometown artists. This year’s show will take place Saturday, May 3 from 10 am – 7 pm.

The event is open to any fine arts talent who resides in the greater Woodlands area.

Exhibitor applications can be downloaded at www.marketstreet-thewoodlands.com. Or, contact Jenny Taylor, Market Street Activities Coordinator, at jtaylor@trademarkproperty.com. Completed applications are due by March 14. Artists will be notified of acceptance by March 31.

“The Spring Arts Festival has become one of our most popular events,” says Taylor. “We’re expecting another great crowd.”

Besides showcasing works of art, the event will feature live music, artist demonstrations and children’s art activities.

Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.

For more information on this and other Market Street events, visit www.marketstreet-thewoodlands.com.

Market Street is a joint-venture development of Trademark Property Company and Kimco Developers, Inc., an affiliate of the real estate investment trust (REIT) Kimco Realty Corporation.
