SPRING FARMER’S MARKET AVAILABLE AT MARKET STREET IN THE WOODLANDS FOR LOCAL GROWERS
FARMER’S MARKETS ARE BACK! Market Street is searching for local participants to be a part of the Spring 2007 Farmer’s Market.
The Farmer’s Market, which drew more than 200 attendees in 2006, is a great way to showcase locally grown produce, homemade soaps, jellies and other unique products. The Spring Farmer’s Market will be open every Saturday, April 14 through June 30, 2007 from 8–11 am.
Potential vendors can be categorized by the following:
Farmer
- Fresh and dried fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers
- Top quality plants (flower and vegetable starts, shrubs, trees, hanging baskets)
- Nuts
- Firewood cut by seller
Processor (All “processors” must have a Montgomery County Health Permit and Texas Manufactures license)
- Bakery/confections
- Condiments (honey, jam, pickles)
Designer (must be hand made)
Applications and additional information for the Spring Farmer’s Market can be found online at www.marketstreet-thewoodlands.com. Applications are due no later than March 30 and vendors will be notified of acceptance by April 7.
Applicants are required to submit a non-refundable $10 application fee. Stall fees vary depending upon the time of application.

Applications for the Fall Harvest Market will be sent out in June/July. Tentative Fall dates are September 22-November 10.
Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.
