According to Angela Borel, Director of Special Events for The Chamber, Taste of the Town will feature over 60 restaurants and vendors and host approximately 6,000 guests from the community.
“We are anticipating a great crowd for this year’s event,” said Borel. “We couldn’t be happier to help raise awareness and collect food at Taste of the Town for the Food Bank. It’s the perfect venue for the community to support the Food Bank and have a wonderful evening at the same time.”
This delightful community-wide event will feature mouth-watering appetizers, entrees, side dishes, desserts, pastries, and beverages from several of the area’s finest restaurants, caterers, bakeries and beverage companies. Guests will also enjoy several festivities including the silent auction, the famous Karaoke Contest, and the new feature at this year’s event--the ‘Taste of the Taste’ – Best Buffalo Wings Competition.
“By encouraging everyone who comes to the event to bring a few canned food items to donate at the door, The Chamber can help us start the year off right and will help us allocate food to all of the families in Montgomery County who need our support,” said Doris Golemon, Executive Director of the Montgomery County Food Bank.
