Awesome Restaraunts Will Star at Taste of the Town!
If you thought the holiday feasts were delicious, you will find they were only a “appetizer” for the main gastronomical event. The 17th Annual Taste of the Town at The Woodlands Town Center will be a gourmet’s dream come true! Coordinated again by the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, this culinary celebration will tempt your taste buds and introduce you to a multitude of our newer restaurants in the area---plus bountiful old favorites. If your idea of gourmet is “dessert to die for” or art posing as edibles---or somewhere in between--you must attend “The Taste.”
The legendary “Taste” will be Thursday, January 23, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Located at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center Exhibit Hall, this new 37,000+ square foot facility will provide the room for the AMAZING event to expand to over 100 vendors. This will be a “destination” for Southeast Texas residents!
New this year will be 10 "Go Texan" booths showcasing fabulous products from “buffalo to pralines.” HONEST! This unique exposition is composed of businesses that are located within our great state and manufacture their products here. They make Texas proud!
A week's stay at the breathtaking Super Clubs Grand Lido Braco in Jamaica is the fabulous raffle item this year. A champagne flight on Air Jamaica is only the beginning of this spectacular vacation—expect to be spoiled totally! You may purchase your lucky tickets at Fox Travel or The Chamber Office.
Grand Prize for the newest competition, the Karaoke Sing-Off, will be a “Grand Canyon Excursion” package for two. Contest applications are available at AAA Travel, Papa’s Ice House, and The Chamber Office. Better yet, log on to the Taste’s website, www.tasteofthetown.org.
A new “Chef Hat Raffle”, special Bid Board packages, a silent auction, our own Ramon Torres on guitar, will add extra excitement to The Chamber’s already AMAZING Taste!
Chamber representatives expect 5,000+ attendees! Gate ticket prices are $15.00 for adults and $7.00 for children. Tickets are available at Kroger (4 locations), Woodforest National Bank (8 locations), The Villager and The Chamber. The tickets make great gifts and can be purchased as corporate ticket packages - up to a 40% discount – a unique way to reward employees and treat friends and thoughtful neighbors.
