MedSpas and Yoga Facility Put
The Woodlands Mall at Leading Edge of Trend
Bella Beau MedSpa, Bikram Yoga Studio, Sõna MedSpa bring beauty procedures
and fitness programs within easy reach of customers
THE WOODLANDS, Texas. January 24, 2007 ~ In the early 1990s, day spas exploded onto the wellness scene. Today, the trend is spreading into the shopping mall with wellness facilities and cosmetic/medical spas popping up next to Anthropologie and Ann Taylor.
The Woodlands Mall, with Bella Beau MedSpa, Bikram Yoga Studio and Sõna MedSpa, is keeping pace, ready to provide every experience a shopper could need.
“The medspa concept is a one-stop beauty spot. Customers fine relaxation with massages plus non-surgical rejuvenations such as laser treatments, hair removal, microdermabrasion and the like,” says Kristi Resendez, marketing manager for The Woodlands Mall. “Of course, the other component of beauty is fitness, and our Bikram Yoga studio is a vigorous program developed to balance and strengthen the body.”
Bikram Yoga Studio
Located on the second floor above Pottery Barn, the Bikram Yoga Studio offers students a health system to enhance personal performance and assist in correcting physical ailments.
The Bikram method of yoga is scientifically designed to encompass endurance, strength and flexibility. Classes are held in a heated room that allows for deeper stretching, facilitates a cardiovascular workout and assists in detoxifying the body through perspiration.
The Bikram Yoga Studio features a spa-like setting with men’s and women’s charging rooms that are equipped with showers, lockers and steam rooms. Additionally, there is a Yoga Boutique with a selection of yoga wear and equipment, and skin-care products.
Bella Beau MedSpa
Founded to bridge the gap between laser clinics, day spas and doctor’s offices, Bella Beau MedSpa offers spa and aesthetic services in a relaxing, tranquil environment.
Included in the non-surgical procedures and rejuvenating spa services at Bella Beau, on the upper level near Macy’s, include medical services such as facial rejuvenation with BOTOX® Cosmetic and Restylane®; laser services including peels and hair removal; acne treatment; photo facial rejuvenation; vein therapy; and more.
Additionally, there are spa, facial and massage services that are unique to Bella Beau. Therapeutic body and facial services include microdermabrasion, anti-aging treatments and more.
Sõna MedSpa
Sõna MedSpa, a medical facility and a luxury spa, combines the latest technology with unique processes to enable laser hair removal and light-based skin treatments. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and procedures are performed by highly trained medical professionals.
Services of Sõna MedSpa, which is in the west wing office component, include laser hair removal; treatment of age spots, freckles, fine lines and wrinkles; tattoo removal; spider vein removal; active acne treatment; medical grade microdermabrasion; facials; BOTOX® Cosmetic; dermal fillers, and more therapies and procedures.
Convenience and pampering at The Woodlands Mall
Unlike many physicians’ offices, the spas are open during mall hours, offering customers more time to visit. Additionally, the medspas often offer specials; and the yoga studio has special introductory classes and offers for new students.
