MARKET STREET SIGNS EIGHT NEW TENANTS TOTALING 46,000 SQUARE FEET OF RETAIL AND OFFICE SPACE
Market Street – The Woodlands has leased more than 46,000 square feet of retail and office space to eight new tenants, transactions which bring the project’s current retail space to 95 percent leased. Its Class A office space now stands at 81 percent leased.
Topping the list of Market Street’s new retail tenants is Forth & Towne, Gap’s newest women’s apparel retail concept. Also signing retail leases are Francesca’s, the popular fashion, accessory and gift retailer formerly located in The Woodlands Mall; Dolce Bella, a luxury boutique offering a selection of exclusive French and Italian lingerie lines; and The Woodlands Home Theater. The
announcement of these new retail leases follows the recent successful openings of Houston’s first Lilly Pulitzer Retail Store, Just Add Water, an Orvis flagship store and Houston’s second J.Crew at Market Street.
Market Street’s office leasing activity remains equally brisk. Four new tenants have signed Market Street office leases including The Regus Group, the world’s largest provider of outsourced workplaces for companies of any size, which will open a 23,000-square-foot business center this fall.
Another new office tenant, Radiance Med Spa, will offer state-of-the-art, non-invasive aesthetic skin care procedures as well as retail products for use at home. Also opening in Market Street’s office space are Sunrise Development, developers of a nearby assisted living facility in The Woodlands; and the energy consulting firm, Committee of Chief Risk Managers.
Market Street is a joint-venture development of Trademark Property Company and Kimco Developers, Inc., an affiliate of the real estate investment trust (REIT) Kimco Realty Corporation.
