The Woodlands Mall Cools The Weekend With Sounds of the Tropics On Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30
THE WOODLANDS, Texas. July 25, 2005. The last weekend in July, The Woodlands Mall “Take The Feeling With You” entertainment series features two hours of tropical tunes and Latin jazz on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Performances are held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays on the new retail and restaurant courtyard. In case of inclement weather, the performances will be held inside The Woodlands Mall in Future Court. The entertainment series continues weekends through Saturday, October 1.
Upcoming performances:
- Tropical: Friday, July 29 – Irie Time delivers the upbeat, feel-good sounds of the Caribbean for concert guests. The group mixes its internationally acclaimed reggae sounds with infectious “Hot Hot Hot” soca rhythms and ska.
- Saturday, July 30 – Jaime Casco & Toque Rojo is a tropical Latin jazz trio featuring Jamie Casco, one of the few performing artists in America who specializes in the unique sound of Roland Midi Brass Pedals.
- Soul: Friday, August 5 – Rick Marcel and The Radiance Band play a little bit of everything, Motown, R&B, funk, rock and roll and the good-old-fashioned blues.
- Saturday, August 6 – SOOL Band presents songs about simpler times, with a focus on swing and soul. It’s music to feel good about. SOOL stands for Sounds Of Our Lives.
