THE WOODLANDS, Texas (June 2, 2008) -- The Executive Committee of The Woodlands Township approved on June 2, 2008 a 60-day transition plan to manage the organization’s day-to-day operations after its president accepted a town manager position in California.

The Vice President of Operations & Public Safety, the Vice President of Finance & Administration, and the Vice President of Marketing & Public Affairs, or the acting person in any of these positions, will be co-managers to assume day-to-day operations of The Woodlands Township upon the departure of Frank W. Robinson, who was serving as president. Mr. Robinson, who was the township's first employee in 1994, accepted a position as Town Manager of the Town of Apple Valley, California. His last day at The Woodlands Township is Friday, June 13, 2008.
