now and in the future,” states Ron Byrd, CREAM’s president. “Montgomery County is among the fastest growing counties in the nation. The Woodlands Waterway is a project that exemplifies the extreme optimism of the County’s commercial real estate industry.”
The Woodlands Waterway®, a 1.25-mile major transportation corridor and linear park located in The Woodlands Town Center, links more than 18 million square feet of prime office space, including Anadarko Petroleum and Huntsman, LLC; urban residential; shopping and entertainment venues; and The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Water taxi rides, pedestrian walkways, and future trolleys are also components to The Woodlands Waterway.
“It is an honor for The Woodlands Waterway to be selected by CREAM, a prominent commercial organization in the Greater Houston area,” Heineman said. “The Woodlands Waterway will continue to thrive in the future, adding to its repertoire more office buildings, urban residential living, a one-acre civic plaza called Waterway Square, Town Green Park, hotels, retail, and entertainment attractions.”

CREAM was started in the 1980’s by County Judge Alan “Barb” Sadler. The organization currently has 180 members with backgrounds in the commercial real estate industry. For more information on CREAM, visit the website, www.creamtx.com.

The Woodlands is a 27,000-acre master-planned community located 27 miles north of downtown Houston. It is a project of The Woodlands Development Company, a Morgan Stanley and General Growth Properties limited partnership.
