The Woodlands, TX (March 2008) The South Montgomery County Woodlands Economic Development Partnership (EDP) recently held its 10th annual Elected Officials Reception at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center on March 6th.
For the past decade, the EDP has taken great pride in expressing its appreciation to elected officials at the local, county, state and federal levels who dedicate their time and energy to making the economic environment healthier and more prosperous in South Montgomery County and The Woodlands, Texas.
Ron Bourbeau, CEO of the Economic Development Partnership, said, “Over the years, the EDP has worked very hard to help create jobs and to stimulate business investment in South Montgomery County and The Woodlands. During that time, we’ve enjoyed the support of elected officials at all levels. We continue to benefit from that support today. Our member companies and staff look forward to hosting this event each year.”
State Senator Tommy Williams addressed more than 100 elected officials and guests at this year’s reception. Williams took the opportunity to reinforce the strength of the economic vitality of the State of Texas, especially Montgomery County.
Platinum Sponsors for the EDP Elected Officials Reception included the City of Shenandoah/CVB, Community Associations of The Woodlands, Consolidated Communications, Petroleum Wholesale, The Woodlands Development Company, The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, and The Woodlands Township.
