MARKET STREET CELEBRATES MOTHER’S DAY WITH WEEKEND-LONG CARRIAGE RIDES

THE WOODLANDS, TX (May 2, 2006)…Looking to pamper Mom with more than just Breakfast in Bed this Mother’s Day?

Then make her feel like a “Queen for a Day” with a relaxing horse-drawn carriage ride at Market Street on Saturday, May 13 (6-10 pm) and Sunday, May 14.

As an additional treat, visitors to Market Street on Mother’s Day, May 14, can stop by the new Lilly Pulitzer store for ice-cold lemonade and “Lilly Lovers” coupons in anticipation of the store’s May 19 opening. The lemonade and coupons will be available from 10 am – noon in front of Lilly Pulitzer in Market Street’s South Commons area.

The South Montgomery County Chamber presents vocalist Mel Henson who will be performing from 2-4 pm in Central Park. HEB will be giving away flowers and Spa de la Casa will be pampering moms with complimentary chair massages near the South Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce kiosk in Central Park.

Located across from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.
